Anticipate a rhythmic spectacle in X Tandava, in which an ensemble of Indian drums from diverse ethnic origins harmoniously blend together in an eclectic manifestation of Indian drumming. The performance is further enriched by songs accompanied by backing tracks, enhancing the allure of this captivating experience.

Damaru Singapore resurrects its iconic multifaceted performance Alaparai that incorporates dance, songs and drumming. This year’s rendition features the Parai Maestro Manimaran of Buddhar Kalai Kuzhu, India, and his two sons. They will delve into parai’s evolution over the past decade.

There will also be an opportunity for the audience to participate in a short hands-on session, with a highlight segment involving 50 drummers synchronising their beats in a powerful ensemble.

Damaru introduces Nasik Dhol Tasha, a Maharashtrian street drumming art form renowned for its thunderous sounds and regal presentation.

This performance will incorporate an interactive element to the traditional art form by involving a jukebox experience. Audiences are invited to choose from 10 different grooves, prompting performers to dynamically respond and bring the selected beats to life.
