about

Since 2015, ARTWALK has been telling stories of heritage, history and culture through public art.

From its beginnings in Little India, the festival has grown to encompass the cultural district of Katong-Joo Chiat as well.

Commemorating ten years of celebrating Singapore’s heritage precincts, ARTWALK 2024: Decennial calls on artists, audiences and communities to reflect on a decade of ARTWALK, the histories that have been shared, and the evolution of these spaces.

ARTWALK invites all to reconsider everything they think they know about Little India and Katong-Joo Chiat, and reacquaint themselves with the hidden stories and long-standing communities that have shaped these precincts into what they are today.

ARTWALK is part of Singapore Art Week. It is jointly organised by LASALLE College of the Arts and Singapore Tourism Board, supported by the Little India Shop Owners and Heritage Association (LISHA).
