This mural blends the timeless charm of Tom and Jerry with the rich heritage of Singaporean culture. It is inspired by the episode “Colourful Chase” from the series of shorts where Tom and Jerry weave through Singapore. Being in Joo Chiat also influenced the design where our favourite duo is set amidst Peranakan motifs and local delights, the mural commemorates the Tom and Jerry series set in Singapore, creating a blazing narrative that celebrates the harmonious fusion of classic animation and cultural richness in this diverse city.
