Jennifer will be hosting a spoken word poetry workshop at EXP Arts House which will also encourage participants to come up and showcase their work during the SENSES open-mic session on 27 and 28 January 2024.
This workshop is beginner-friendly and suitable for attendees interested in learning poetry and creative expression through art and poetry.
Jennifer Anne Champion is a spoken word poet. She has been described as a household name in this field by Tatler Asia and gifted with “swift, animated style” by Juice Magazine. She is also an educator, archivist and textile artist. Jennifer was most recently Singapore’s digital poet-in-residence at the National Centre for Writing, UK in 2021 and has performed her work internationally. However, her heart, home and practice is in Singapore.
